A wide selection of excellent bars and restaurants can be found within a very short walking distance. Public transport links run to the centre of Pula. It takes only 10 minutes by bike to reach the historic centre of Pula (2 bicycles are available for guests of the villa). The nearest beach is 20 m from the villa.The Roman city of Pula and the charming village of Medulin are within easy reach. Medulin is considered one of the best seaside resorts in Istria.You will find a wide selection of bars and restaurants in Medulin and Prementura, all famous for their fish dishes. Pula also has many excellent restaurants, some of which are located in the old town, which is full of Roman ruins. The most famous Roman monument in Pula, the starting and ending point of any tourist visit, is the amphitheater, commonly known as the Pula Arena, where gladiator fights used to take place. It was built in the 1st century AD under Emperor Vespasian, at the same time as the magnificent Colosseum in Rome. Today, it hosts events in the summer - a film festival, an opera season, an equestrian festival, concerts and theater performances. The underground tunnels, once used by gladiators, now serve as an exhibition space.
